Sean Gallagher is a filmmaker & editor based out of Westchester, New York. As a graduate of SUNY Oneonta, he holds a BS in Mass Communication with minors in Communication Studies and Business Comm.
Based out of Westchester, NY - Sean has a passion for documentary storytelling and received the Merit for ‘Artistic Contribution to Social Justice’ by the SUNY Oneonta Department of Africana & Latino Studies. He is currently directing his first full-length documentary, The Black List, which reveals the story behind the longest litigated civil rights case in American history.
Sean currently works on the Technology Staff at the Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, NY. In the Spring of 2011, he was chosen by Westchester Magazine as one of “Westchester’s Wunderkinds,” professionals under the age of 30 noted for their ideas, ambitions and community involvement.
When not viewing the world behind the camera lens, Sean writes a haiku every day and is a member of the Intangible Collective.
